Situation: When your Symbian mobile does not works properly and gets hang very often and not perform its functions smoothly then IT'S TIME TO GO FOR A HARD FORMAT.
Purpose: To completely format your mobile, it not just only reset all your settings but completely make your mobile as new.
Caution: Please remove your memory card before Hard Formatting your mobile, otherwise you'll loose all your data or maybe it makes your memory card corrupted.
Method:
Step1: Turn off your mobile phone.
Step2: Hold the green(call) button + *(star) button + 3(three) button and switch on your mobile hold these buttons till format screen appears.
(Note:- Many of new phones does not show any formatting screen, so you have to hold these buttons until your mobile switched on completely)
